Sagaloop AI Inc. ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Sagaloop AI Shopify application and website at sagaloop.ai. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.

1. Information We Collect

Information from Shopify Merchants

When you install Sagaloop AI on your Shopify store, we access and store:

• Store data: Shop name, domain, email, currency, timezone via Shopify OAuth
• Product data: Titles, descriptions, prices, variants, inventory, images to answer customer questions
• Order data: Order numbers, status, fulfillment, and shipping info to provide order tracking
• Customer conversations: Chat transcripts between shoppers and the AI to improve answers and for analytics
• Custom content: FAQs, documents, or corrections you upload to train your AI agent

Information from Shoppers

When a shopper uses the Sagaloop AI widget on your store, we collect:

• Chat messages and questions submitted to the AI
• Browser type, IP address, and pages visited for security and analytics
• Order email or order number if provided for order lookup

We do not collect payment card details. All checkout and payment processing is handled by Shopify.

2. How We Use Information

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Sagaloop AI service
• Answer shopper questions using your product and order data
• Improve and fine-tune AI models for Shopify ecommerce use cases
• Provide analytics to you about deflected tickets, assisted revenue, and top questions
• Communicate with you about service updates, security, and support
• Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and technical issues

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your data. We share data only with service providers who help us run the service, or if required by law. Shopper chat data is visible to the Shopify merchant whose store the chat occurred on.

4. Data Retention

• Chat transcripts are retained per your plan: Free — 7 days, Growth — 30 days, Pro — 90 days
• Product and order data is synced from Shopify and deleted within 30 days of app uninstall
• You can request deletion at any time by emailing support@sagaloop.ai

5. Security

We use industry-standard encryption (TLS in transit, AES-256 at rest) to protect your data. Sagaloop AI is GDPR compliant. We conduct regular security reviews and limit data access to authorized personnel only.

6. Your Rights
