Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Sagaloop AI (the "Service") provided by Sagaloop AI Inc. ("we", "us", or "our"). By installing the Sagaloop AI app on Shopify or using sagaloop.ai, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

Sagaloop AI is a Shopify application that provides an AI-powered chat widget to answer shopper questions about products, orders, shipping, and policies. The Service syncs data from your Shopify store and may use content you provide to train AI responses.

2. Merchant Accounts

• You must have a valid Shopify store and comply with Shopify's Terms of Service
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Shopify account
• You must be at least 18 years old or have legal authority to bind your business to these Terms

3. Use of Service

Permitted Use

• Install Sagaloop AI on stores you own or manage
• Use the AI to answer customer questions related to your products and orders
• Upload FAQs, documents, and corrections to improve your AI agent

Prohibited Use

• Use the Service to violate any law, including consumer protection or spam laws
• Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or resell the AI models
• Upload content that is illegal, defamatory, or infringes third-party rights
• Use the Service to compete with Sagaloop AI by building a similar product

4. Fees and Billing

• Paid plans are billed through Shopify every 30 days
• All fees are non-refundable except where required by law
• We may change prices with 30 days' notice via email or in-app notification
• If you exceed your plan's AI reply limit, overage charges may apply or service may pause

5. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using Sagaloop AI, you instruct us to process your Shopify data and shopper chats to provide the Service. You represent that you have the right to share this data and have disclosed AI use to shoppers as required by law.

6. Intellectual Property

• We own all rights to Sagaloop AI software, models, and branding
• You retain ownership of your store data, product content, and uploaded documents
• You grant us a license to use your content solely to provide and improve the Service for you

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that AI answers will be 100% accurate. You are responsible for reviewing AI responses and correcting errors via Supervised Training. We are not liable for sales lost due to incorrect AI answers.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sagaloop AI Inc.'s total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amounts you paid us in the 3 months prior to the claim.

9. Termination

• You may uninstall the app at any time, which terminates these Terms
• We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms
• Upon termination, we will delete your synced Shopify data within 30 days per our Privacy Policy

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. If changes are material, we'll notify you by email or in-app at least 15 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the new Terms.
